This trek leading to Adi Kailash, renowned as the haunt of Lord Shiva, holds the spiritual values for the people of India. You will approach Adi Kailash at the elevation of approx 6191 meters above sea level which lies in the Kumaon Himalayan region. It is also known as Chhota Kailash which is the reproduction of outstanding Mt. Kailash in Tibet. This place has a theological implication in Hindu religion. Adi Kailash is situated in the Indian terrain which is slight adjacent to Indian-Tibet border. This is the region of ultimate natural beauty, peaceful and pleasant ambience with the growl of urban spirit fading to the background. You will find the restorative silence in this area which makes it the best place to find the inner peace and one can listen to the sound of one’s inner soul. While on travelling, you will get a chance to explore the scenic and spectacular views of bulky forest at Annapurna. While you are going for the trek, your base camp crosses over through affluent valley which is totally exaggerated with plenty of ancestral villages. The place offers harvesting lands and vast range of flora & fauna at distant elevation which removes itself over several limited streams. Besides the highest altitude of 6191m, Adi Kailash trek expands from an altitude of 2,200 m to 4,752 m. In terms of difficulty level this trek is challenging but full of adventure.
