Hemkund trek is known for its sacred values, which is located at the 4,632 meter altitude. This is the holy shrine of Sikhs which is situated on the shores of the Hemkund Lake. It is the place where tenth and last guru of Sikhs, Guru Govind Singh done a consolidated drawn out rumination with God. Also according to Indian mythology, Hemkund or Lokpal is the place where Lakshmana had done his absolution. Hemkund is the holy worship place of Sikhs which is located in the Chamoli district of Uttrakhand. It is the famous pilgrim trek especially among the Sikhs as it the religious point for the Indian mythology. It is 15 km long trek which starts from Govindghat and escape to the Bhyundar or Lakshmana Ganga valley. Govindghat is the bus route to Badrinath and the trek journey starts from here, which takes around jungles of pine, rhododendron, pine ferns, alpine flowers, wild roses etc. You can also see the Lakshmana Ganga valley here, last trek of 5 km from Ghangharia encompass an abrupt crawl, which is the base camp of Hemkund. The lake is about 2 km in edge. Best season to visit this destination is from March to November. Days-1 : Delhi- Rishikesh Drive 224 KM
Arrival at Delhi. Following breakfast, drive to the holy city which is replete with several temples and ashrams "Rishikesh". Check-in to the hotel of Rishikesh upon arrival. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Days-2 : Rishikesh- Karnprayag -Joshimath Drive 245 KM.
Post breakfast in the morning, drive to approx 245 kms to reach Joshimath. Lunch on the way. Check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay upon arriving Joshimath.
Days-3 : Joshimath-Govindghat-Ghangariya Trek (13 KM) Drive (18 KM) Mussoorie Trek.
Post breakfast, drive to 22 km to reach at Govindghat. We will be start trekking to Ghangariya, a trek of 14km. For visiting Valley of flowers and Hemkund Sahib, Ghangaria works as the base camp.
Days-4 : Ghangariya -Hemkund -Ghangariya Trek 16 KM.
To reach "Hemkund Sahib", we will start trekking in the morning. Hemkund Sahib is famous widely as one of the most important shrines amongst Sikhs. Trek down to Ghangariya for night halt purposes. Evening is free for leisure and rest.
Days-5 : Ghangariya.
Enjoy the day time as your wish.If you like to spend your time in midst of flora and flowers than you can make an additional visit to the "Valley of Flowers". Overnight stay to Ghangariya upon returning.
Days-6 : Ghangariya – Govindghat – Rudraprayag Drive 148 KM Trek 16 Km.
Start a return trek to Govindghat post breakfast. Drive to Rudraprayag passing through Karnaprayag and Joshimath. Check in to the hotel for overnight stay and Dinner at hotel upon arriving.
Days-7 : Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Delhi Drive 350 KM.
Following breakfast, drive to Delhi 350 km passing through Rishikash.
