Namik glacier is located in the Pithoragarh district in the state of Uttrakhand in Kumaon Himalayas at an elevation of 3600 meters. As compare to other trekking points of Himalaya, it is less visited destination. This trekking terminal of Himalaya is perfect though, especially for the people who love silence and serenity. Days-1 : Kathgodam – Chaukori (2010 m)
Drive to the Chaukori via splendid Kumaun countryside which includes the Almora Township. Renowned widely for tea garden, Chaukori is decked with marvelous panorama views of snow covered Himalayas. Check in hotel.
Days-2 : Chaukori – Munsyari (2290 m)
Following breakfast in the morning, a drive to Munsyari. The spectacular view of the Panchachuli range is enough to blow your mind during trekking. While rolling in the small village of charming Munsyari is famous for its vibrant meadows and numerous beauty spots. Check in hotel to Munsyari.
Days-3 : Munsyari – Senar Gad Meadows (7 km trek)
We will trek up to Senar Gad Meadow. Overnight stay and dinner in tent.
Days-4 : Senar Gad – Dhaldauk (11 km trek)
Trek to Dhaldauk in the morning after breakfast. An easy walk to Dhaldauk with beautiful white shepherds roaming and resting around. Trekking through the untouched route, you can see the picturesque views of the Panch chuli peaks. Overnight stay in tent.
Days-5 : Dhaldauk – Sudamkhan (7 km trek)
After breakfast, trek to the unforgettable lanes towards Sudamkhan. Overnight stay and dinner in tent.
Days-6 : Sudamkhan – Hiramani Glacier (9 km trek)
Post breakfast, proceed to Hiramani Glacier. You can enjoy the magnificent stay and dinner near Glacier.
Days-7 : Hiramani Glacier – Namik Glacier – (3600 m) Sudamkhan (14 kms trek)
Post breakfast, we will proceed to Namik glacier. The peak Nanda Kot is very near to that of Namik Glacier. After discovering the beautiful mountains, return back to Sudamkhan. Night stay and dinner at the camp.
Days-8 : Sudam khan – Namik Village (11 km trek)
Get ready to trek Namik village, post breakfast. Houses at Namik are crafted with traditional formation and plenty of woodcarvings. Enjoy your overnight stay in tent in the midst of village Namik.
Days-9 : Namik Village – Gogina (6 km trek)
Post breakfast, we will move towards Gogina village. The village Gogina is cited in the heart of Ramganga valley. You will also come across with Shepherds in this charming location. Visit to the village Kimu on the way. Overnight stay and dinner in the camp/village.
Days-10 : Gogina – Liti (16 km trek)
We will start trekking to Liti, dive down the Ramganga Valley, a straight road to Liti. Night-halt and dinner at the Camp/Village.
Days-11 : Liti – Bageshwar- Nainital
Start drive to Nainital straight in the morning. Enroute visit Bageshwar. Check in the hotel by evening.
Days-12 : Enjoy and explore the mall
You can use this day as per your preference, you can visit the local viewpoints in Nainital or just can only relax. Drive to Kathgodam railway station in the evening.
